The Pinth star system marks one of the edges of Human Space. It is a yellow, G3 class star with three planets as well as an asteroid field at the extreme edge of the system that may have once been a fourth and possibly even a fifth planet. Only the second planet, known as Colson's World is habitable.
Access to the system is limited to a single interstellar portal (pushed there and controlled by Amadeus Colson himself) which operates at sub-standard size, preventing larger vessels from entering.
