Role in Story: “Deceased” monarch of Sharmalaro, a lush planet in the middle of Flen space which nonetheless maintains its own autonomy and full authority over itself and its three moons.

Physical Description: Phenxter is a Dorvaln, one of two sapient humanoid species on Sharmalaro. About five feet tall and stocky, he has a close-cropped, spotted pelt in greens and yellows, and a highly flexible tail that broadens and flattens at the tip.
