Several billion years ago, a long vanished race known as the Vrell designated one hundred planets in the galaxy as Mausoleum Worlds. These are planets that serve as the final resting place of hundreds of different races.
Within the larger Conroyverse, multiple references have been made to the planet Hesnarj, arguably the nearest and most easily reached of mausoleum world to Earth. Angela "Gel" Colson visited Hesnarj in 2094.
